Are you a WWII buff who can't get no satisfaction at the movies? Then rocker Mick Jagger may have your number with this twisting, detail-oriented tale of British code breakers and their math games against the Nazis. The first offering from Jagger's Jagged Films production company finds Dougray Scott as an equation junkie on a mission impossible to crack a new German code before U-boats poke holes in Allied ships.
Adding to the pressure is the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend, the appearance of a troubling secret service agent, a recent mental breakdown and the cute stubbornness of fellow puzzle fanatic Kate Winslet. Thanks to the one-two punch of Oscar-winning writer Tom Stoppard and director Michael Apted, the actors and story equate to a class act (even if it drags a bit in the middle). And the best part? No delusional Russell Crowe in sight!
