Jennifer Aniston is more than just a Friend. In this downer tale about loneliness and responsibility, Ms. Brad Pitt plays Justine, a Retail Rodeo employee in small-town Texas who's just trying to get through the daily grind. Her situation isn't made better by her stoner layabout husband, John C. Reilly. But when mysterious loner Jake Gyllenhaal enters her life, romance blooms.
..and trouble starts. Indie director Miguel Arteta (Chuck & Buck) shows the tediousness of small-town life without falling for rural clichés. Gyllenhaal is great as a troubled soul, but it's Aniston who pulls out everything un-Rachel-like for a performance that'll leave most amazed and many shocked. A better than Good flick.
