Watch: Arie Luyendyk Jr. Is Courtney Robertson's Landlord!

Talk about friendly exes.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Courtney Robertson's brief romance in 2012 caused quite the stir in Bachelor Nation, considering she has just ended her engagement to The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik one week before they were spotted together.

So when Arie, the runner-up from Emily Maynard's season, was announced as our next Bachelor, fans immediately started speculating that Courtney might show up on the first night.

Alas, don't expect any surprise limo appearances when the ABC hit returns on Monday, Jan. 1, as Arie told E! News, "We're actually still really good friends!"

And their friendship is still so strong that Arie is actually Courtney's landlord! "I own the place that she lives in, so I'm her landlord," Arie said with a laugh.

The race car driver also went on to say that he turned to Courtney for advice before leaving to film the season.

"The romantic side of our relationship, that was way in the past, so we're just really good friends," he said. "It's fun to talk to her about this whole experience because she's been through it...so before I left we had a god conversation about it."

After the fan-favorite was unexpectedly announced as the next Bachelor after a five-year absence from the franchise, a source told E! News about Arie's post-Bachelorette dating life.

"He was hooking up with Courtney Robertson for a while and he also dated another girl, but for less than a year, and they broke up over a year ago," our source revealed, adding, "The girl he dated wasn't on the show."

The Bachelor premieres Monday, Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
