Love may or may not be in the air for Teen Mom 2 stars Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin. In a recent interview with People, Marroquin revealed he and DeJesus are dating.
"We are dating," Marroquin told the magazine. "We've been friends for a while and we weren't in a rush."
Neither DeJesus nor MTV responded to People's request for comment. However, perhaps playing it coy, DeJesus stated in a text to E! News, "Nothing is going on." Her rep also told E! News the two are just friends.
In addition, DeJesus recently tweeted she was "about to change my number and go ghost."
Still, DeJesus and Marroquin have been giving off coupley vibes via their social media accounts. Marroquin used the hashtag #Bae in a picture of him and DeJesus, and she used the same term of endearment in a since-deleted tweet. Plus, her Twitter profile picture features Marroquin.
It looks like their relationship has been building for a while. In September, Marroquin posted a picture of him and DeJesus at Tao Downtown Restaurant and Nightclub. And as People pointed out, the proud father took his kids to Florida to visit DeJesus and her sister Brittney, and it looks like they squeezed in some fun time at the water park.
Marroquin was previously married to Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry. The two tied the knot in 2012 but divorced a few years later. They share a son, Lincoln, and Marroquin served as stepfather to Lowry's son Isaac, whom she shares with the child's biological father Jo Rivera. Lowry gave birth to a third child this summer. The child's father is Chris Lopez.
During a recent episode of Daily Pop, Lowry revealed whether she'd ever get back with one of her exes.
"You know what? When I hit that wall where I'm done, like for good, I don't ever go back," she said. "And, so, I think it's pretty much done for good."
She also discussed Marroquin's relationship with DeJesus.
"I actually don't know what their relationship status is," she said at the time, "and whatever it is I'm happy for them. As long as they're happy, that's fine with me."
Lowry and Marroquin are currently starring on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars and are figuring out how to co-parent after their divorce.
There were also rumors that Lowry cheated on Marroquin while they were together; however, she previously told E! News that those rumors were a "misconception" and just "good TV."
DeJesus, who is the newest Teen Mom 2 star and previously starred on Teen Mom 3, has two daughters: Nova and Stella.
