It's official: Marc Anthony and wife and model Shannon de Lima are getting divorced.
E! News learned a month ago the two had called it quits. Anthony and de Lima confirmed the news Sunday, saying their decision to separate was mutual.
"After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two year marriage," the two said in a statement to E! News. "We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter."
They have no children together. De Lima has a 9-year-old son from a previous relationship.

While the couple had until now remained mum about their split, Anthony's father Felipe Muñiz referenced it in an interview with Telemundo Puerto Rico's Dando Candela at his son's concert earlier this month.
"He's going through tough times right now, but he knows how to accept what comes out of this," Anthony's father said. "He has a lot of experience (in separations)."
Anthony has been married twice before. He and first wife and Puerto Rican actress Dayanara Torres were married for four years before they divorced in 2004. They share two sons.
Anthony also shares a twin son and daughter with Jennifer Lopez, who he married soon after his divorce from Torres was finalized. The two split in 2011 and finalized their divorce in 2014, five months before he married de Lima.
Anthony and Lopez have remained friendly since their split and even shared a kiss onstage at the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards. Following much buzz about the incident, he proceed to lock lips with several of his friends.
He and Lopez have also continued to work together; he is producing a new Spanish-language album for her. The record is set to be released in 2017.
