Lala Kent made more enemies than friends during her two-season stint on Bravo's hit series Vanderpump Rules. Regardless, Scheana Shay can rest easy knowing that Lala is in her corner.

Scheana filed for divorce from Mike Shay on Nov. 30 after 16 months of marriage and 15 years of friendship. On Wednesday, Lala revealed to E! News' Carissa Culiner that she's chosen to support Scheana despite their sometimes-tense working relationship. "I had a conversation with Scheana, actually, today. I was going to start making music with her husband—soon to be ex-husband—and she texted me saying she'd appreciate if that didn't happen. Woman-to-woman, I can understand that. I respect that," Lala explained. "She came to me like a woman."

As for whether she and Scheana will forge a friendship, Lala said, "We'll just see what happens."

Who could blame Lala for being wary? After all, Scheana iced her out because Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder gave her an ultimatum during an episode of the show's fifth season (airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET). "I will stick to my guns on this till the day I die: I think Scheana has an amazing heart," Lala said. "I just think she's very conflicted most of the time."

E! News' Erin Lim caught up with Scheana's co-workers Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval at Sur Wednesday night, where they were mixing up some holiday cocktails. Asked how Scheana is feeling after the breakup, Ariana replied, "She's good. I know that it's been a lot of ups and downs. I'm not with her every second of the day, so I know that I'm not necessarily seeing the emotional moments. But when I've seen her, I know that there's been good days and there's been bad days. But she's a really strong person, and I think she'll be OK. I love both of them."

After Scheana and Mike split, the exes issued a joint statement to E! News in which they vowed to remain "amicable" and move forward with "love and mutual respect" for each other. "We might have failed at our marriage," the Shays said, "but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other's personal happiness and professional success."
