Renée Zellweger has found herself at the center of someone else's legal battle.

The Bridget Jones's Baby star's rocker boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall, is fighting his ex, Susannah Melvoin, over child support, E! News confirms. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Melvoin wanted Zellweger to submit her assets as evidence for Bramhall's "lavish" lifestyle. But in response documents filed by Zellweger, the actress felt she shouldn't have to be involved, explaining that her personal and professional life should be kept separate from her boyfriend. Zellweger's court documents claimed the case had been pending for years, giving Melvoin more than enough time to gather proper evidence.

Ultimately, Zellweger was called in to testify, telling the judge about a few gifts she bought for her boyfriend.

Bramhall has one daughter, India Willah Bramhall, with his ex.

Zellweger's rep declined to comment.

Bramhall and the A-list actress have been together since 2012 but rarely make public appearances together; however, in 2013, the two lovebirds were spotted enjoying a romantic vacation in Hawaii.

The couple wasn't afraid to indulge in some PDA, as a source told E! News, "They have been really cute together. They've been openly kissing and cuddling. He even has his guitar on vacation with him and was playing it for her while they waited for their rental car."

Two years later in 2015, the couple continued to be as emotive with each other. "They are very gracious towards one another. They seem very happy and comfortable with each other," a source told E! News. "The two were constantly smiling."

Despite this legal snafu, it seems like Zellweger and Bramhall are as happy as ever.
