Well, that was fast.

Candace Cameron Bure appeared on her final taping of The View Friday. Just a day earlier, she had revealed she planned to exit the series after serving as a co-host for less than two seasons.

"Well, I made the announcement yesterday that I am leaving The View and today is officially my last day," she on Friday's episode. "I will miss all of you too. They've all told me I'm welcome back any time and I would love to come back. So I won't be a stranger."

Co-host Paula Faris told Candace it has been "so great to have your perspective," adding, "I know you speak for a lot of people in this country and I know this show is committed to making sure that voice is still heard at the table so thank you for bringing what you uniquely bring to this table. We're all going to miss you."

Candace was known as the token conservative co-host and would often get into political arguments with left-leaning co-star Raven-Symoné, who announced in October she is leaving The View before the end of the year, to concentrate on a sequel spinoff to her hit Disney Channel series That's So Raven. She was absent from Friday's show.

The View co-host Joy Behar asked Candace if she has enjoyed herself during her time on the show.

"Very very much," Candace said. "I really have learned so much and it will, I mean, I'll take it with me forever. Listen, this show is legendary and to think that I have been a part of it is really incredible so I'm very blessed and thankful for the opportunity that I had."

While announcing her departure Thursday, Candace had cited her commitments to Fuller House, her work with the Hallmark Channel and the difficulty of having to travel between both coasts on a regular basis. The 40-year-old actress is a married mother of three.

Co-host Sara Haines got teary eyed on The View Friday as she said goodbye to Candace and recalled spending time with her daughter, Natasha Bure.

"I'm crying a little bit because I got to know her daughter Natasha," she said. "The only person I'm a bigger fan of than her is her daughter. I love her."

Candace appeared a little emotional herself as she signed off one last time.

"Everyone have a great day and take a little time to enjoy the view," she said, blowing a kiss.
