Julianne Hough took Throwback Thursday Tuesday to new heights when she shared an epic photo on Instagram from her days as a Dancing With the Stars pro in the making. In the snapshot, a young Julianne struts her stuff across the ballroom in a fierce sequined number and cornrow braids. That sass alone deserves a mirror ball trophy!
As for Hough's dance partner, he's definitely a familiar face to those who tune into the wildly popular competition series season after season. Yep, that's right—Julianne's former dance parner was none other than fellow DWTS fixture Mark Ballas. Nice braces, Ballas.

And for those not up on their DWTS fast facts, Hough and Ballas go way back. At the wee age of 10, Julianne followed in big brother Derek Hough's footsteps across the pond to London to train under Ballas' parents. Julianne and Derek ultimately joined forces with Mark to star their very own pop band called 2B1G, or Two Boys One Girl.
