2016 Critics' Choice Awards

A&E Network

Awards season is almost underway!

T.J. Miller will return to host the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E. Nominations in the television categories were announced Nov. 14. On Thursday, People Now's Andrea Boehlke and Bingeworthy's Jessica Shaw revealed the film category nominees.

Historically, the Critics' Choice Awards have been regarded as the most accurate predictor of the Academy Awards nominations. The Broadcast Film Critics Association is the largest film critics' organization in the U.S. and Canada, representing more than 300 critics. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association, meanwhile, is the collective voice of almost 100 journalists.
