Mark Salling won't face charges for an alleged rape.

E! News confirms that the Los Angeles District Attorney won't be charging the Glee alum for rape of a 22-year-old woman, citing insufficient evidence.

The victim claimed that she entered into a relationship with the Glee alum and wanted to wait until marriage to have sex. According to the police report, Salling "continued to pressure her" until she agreed to have sex. She ultimately changed her mind, telling him, "I can't do this," but he allegedly didn't listen.

The victim filed the police report in April 2016, about four years after the alleged incident occurred. 

If more evidence surfaces, however, the D.A. said it might reopen the case.

E! News has reached out to his attorney for comment.

Earlier this year, the 34-year-old actor pleaded not guilty to the federal criminal charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. The grand jury handed down the two-count indictment, alleging Salling obtained and possessed pornographic photos and video depicting girls, some purportedly younger than 12 years old. 

He was slated to begin his trial on July 12, but E! News confirmed the date had been delayed after the court granted Salling's request for a new attorney.

If Salling is convicted of receiving child pornography, he could face a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 20 years behind bars. If found guilty on both charges, Salling could face 40 years in prison.
