We know that American Horror Story: Roanoke is poised to welcome back a slew of familiar faces for the back half of the season, but who are they going to play?

That's the question on everyone's mind ahead of tonight's new episode of the ultra-secretive FX series now that everything's changed and gone completely meta, with the season's real-life players (Shelby, Matt and Lee) now living in a house alongside the actors who played their fictional selves on My Roanoke Nightmare in AHS: Roanoke's second reality show-within-the-show of the season, Return to Roanoke: 3 Days in Hell.

With Taissa Farmiga and Finn Wittrock set to return, as well as a few other usual AHS stars who we're pretty sure we'll be getting a visit from, and all the real-life ghosts we've only seen in reenactments out there ready to terrorize Shelby and Matt all over again, it's time to play connect the dots.

Taissa Farmiga

As Ryan Murphy revealed to E! News' Kristin Dos Santos, the beloved Murder House and Coven star is returning to the series for the first time since her fight to be Supreme. With confirmation that Lady Gaga's witchy character on Roanoke is the first Supreme, we've got a pretty strong suspicion that Farmiga will be her real-world counterpart. That math just feels easy.

Finn Wittrock

Wittrock made a name for himself as Freak Show's evil Dandy Mott, making the character so iconic, Murphy decided to fill in his family's history in Roanoke, making Dandy's hilariously fey ancestor Edward Mott the original owner of the farmhouse. Evan Peters (as dimwitted actor Rory Monaghan) brought the character to life in the reenactment, but we've got a feeling the family resemblance will be strong in the real-world and both Mott's will have Wittrock's gorgeous mug.

Lady Gaga

We've met plenty of the actors who starred in My Roanoke Nightmare, but not whoever played the witch in the woods yet. She may not have moved into the house with the others (understandable considering the star's busy schedule), but we can't have seen the last of Gaga this season. How delicious would it be if they went even more meta, with Gaga playing a pop star segueing into an acting career?

Matt Bomer

Someone's got to play the real-world version of The Butcher's son, right? Who better than Bomer? After all, people didn't comment on how similar he and Wes Bentley looked last season in Hotel for no reason.

Jessica Lange

The Butcher is coming for these idiots who dared return to her land, despite knowing full well what she's capable of under the Blood Moon. And there is no one better to shock us with than the former face of AHS, Jessica freaking Lange. You just know that Kathy Bates' insane Agnes Mary Winstead is first on the Butcher's list.
