Amber Portwood wants everyone to be cautious about what they read.
Following a taping for Teen Mom OG Season 7 reunion, the 26-year-old mom and former reality star took to Instagram to address the rumors swirling around her and former co-star Farrah Abraham.
According to The Mr. Real Housewife blog, drama reportedly ignited between the moms when Dr. Drew Pinsky brought up comments Abraham's boyfriend Simon Saran allegedly made about Amber's fiancé Matt Baier, particularly that Saran had called him a pedophile on Snapchat.
"Farrah piped in and said, 'Well, he does kind of look like a pedophile,'" a source told the blog. While there are many sides to this story, all of the versions involve an on-set scuffle between, Portwood, Abraham, Saran, Baier and Farrah's father.
However, Amber won't stand for the attacks on her fiancé. "I'm going to stick up for my man and stick up for myself—that doesn't mean to be physical," she told her fans directly via an Instagram video posted Monday. "I'm a woman."
While there is little concrete information about what transpired between the women of Teen Mom OG on Saturday, Portwood advised fans to use their brains.
"I know there's a lot of rumors going around about what has happened on the reunion show and I just want everybody to stay open-minded and understand that 90 percent of what youre reading isn't true in that you should kind of use your brain in what you think actually happened," she said.
"I just don't know really what to say because I'm not really allowed to say things contractually about what happened on the show...know that a lot of things that you're reading from the other side is all false. It's all negative."
Instead, she's looking forward to the reunion's airing. "I think it's gonna be kind of sad when the video comes out…they're going to look like nothing but liars...which makes me kind of excited that the video will be coming out at the reunion."
