Candy Crush is jumping from your cell phone screen to your TV. Yes, a Candy Crush TV show is coming. Soon you will be able to play Candy Crush while watching Candy Crush.

CBS has ordered Candy Crush, a one-hour live-action game show created and executive produced by Matt Kunitz hailing from CBS, Lionsgate and King. In Candy Crush the show, teams of two people must use their "wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards featuring next generation technology to conquer Candy Crush and be crowned the champions."

"We are huge fans of Candy Crush and, like so many others, we know the ‘rush' of advancing to the next level of the game," Glenn Geller, president of CBS Entertainment, said in a statement. "We're excited to work with Lionsgate and King to adapt one of the world's most popular and entertaining game franchises for television and make it available to its massive, passionate fan base who can watch and play along at home."

Let it all settle in: Candy Crush is becoming a game show. The mobile game has players match candy combinations of three or more to get points. According to the press release, an average of 18 billion Candy Crush Saga rounds are played around the world every month.

"The Candy Crush franchise has been loved by players around the world on mobile so it's very exciting to be working with Matt and the team to bring the fun and challenge of the Candy Crush games to television. We hope our players will be entertained by what is set to be a high-energy, challenging game show," Sebastian Knutsson, chief creative officer at King, and executive producer of Candy Crush, said in a statement.

No host has been announced yet. No premiere date has been set.
