As so many famous parents learn, people on social media are very quick to shame moms and dads for how they parent.
But when it comes to Kristin, she's learned how to remain unaffected by all the unnecessary noise.
"I've had people shame me for different things and I honestly don't care," she shared with E! News at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills. "I'm so confident in what I'm doing that it doesn't affect me."
In fact, it's not her business skills or time in front of the camera that makes Kristin feel her best. Instead, it's being a hands-on mom to her children that gives her self-assurance.
"Being a mom," she explained. "That's when I feel like I really came into my own and became the person I was always meant to be."
The fashion designer and TV personality stepped out Saturday night for the annual charity event that supports battling childhood diabetes. Kristin's husband Jay Cutler is a type 1 diabetic making the cause "very near and dear to my heart."
While she's more than happy to help such worthy causes, it's always hard not to be with her three children.
"My mother-in-law thank god sends me photos and FaceTime helps a lot," she admitted. "When you're at home all day, you think your work suffers but when you're working you feel like you're missing out."
As Kristin continues working on her newest venture—a new cookbook—plans are already underway for the family's Halloween celebrations.
The businesswoman exclusively revealed to E! News that Sailor is going to be a white cat while Camden is going to be a Top Gun-esque pilot. As for Jaxson, he's going as a fire truck.
"[The kids are] great. Sailor my daughter is turning one next month which is crazy. I can't believe it," she shared on the red carpet. "It's been really nice having a girl. She brings a calming energy to the house. She's balanced out the house and my boys are in school loving it."
Sharon Stone, Jane Fonda, Jamie Foxx, Idina Menzel and Jay Leno were also in attendance for the charity event.
