Forget how to get away with murder, how about how to get over a break-up?!

How to Get Away With Murder returned last week and immediately decided to break our hearts into little pieces by breaking up one of the ABC hit's most popular couples: Coliver.

Yes, Connor (Jack Falahee) and Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) split in the season three premiere, and in E! News' exclusive sneak peek from the Thursday, Sept. 29 episode, it looks like the rest of the Keating Five are just as upset over the end of Coliver as we are.

"What did you do?!" Michaela (Aja Naomi King) demands to know, while Asher (Matt McGorry) continues, "For real, do not tell me that you cheated on my boy!" But after Connor reveals it was Oliver's decision (but doesn't say the reasoning behind it), it seems like the group thinks Oliver may have been the one to cheat on Connor...just as Oliver walks in the room. Awkward!

But it seems like Connor isn't giving up on the relationship just yet, as he says he's going to "change" Oliver's mind by the end of the week. "Damn, the girl's cocky," Asher (amazingly) responds.

It helps that the two will have to stay in touch, seeing as how Oliver is now working with Annalise (Viola Davis).

"I will say this for Coliver: we're not going to take this breakup in a very typical way," showrunner Pete Nowalk told E! News. "They're still going to stay in each other's lives. They obviously now work together, they still live together, so it's been really fun to watch and write a breakup that is twisty in emotional ways."

Nowalk added, "I think there's always hope for them. I think these are two people who are really good together." Huzzah!

Of course, this is HTGAWM, with Falahee also telling us, "Yeah, I mean there could be [hope] if they both stay alive!" Boo!

How to Get Away With Murder airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
