Olivia Palermo is giving us something to think about.

If you're a big fan of the athleisure look (or you just enjoy being comfortable while looking great), track pants might be your new go-to for nights out on the town—or when you're running from fashion show to fashion show (tomato, tomato, right?).

Because when it comes to cozy trousers, slim to none come close to these particular bottoms, and, thanks to Olivia P., they're now a completely acceptable, fashion-forward wardrobe staple.

The trick is not to get too matchy-matchy (a.k.a. leave your Sofia Richie-inspired sports bras at home), so your pants can blend in with a new, unexpected kind of outfit. Try pairing them with a sweater like Olivia's or even with a tee, but not before throwing a jacket on top for a more finished look.

Keep your footwear simple yet polished—go with heels for a dressier feel or pristine sneakers to be more laid-back—and play with your hair for added flair. Braids, buns, ponytails are all great options.
