Welcome to Canada, royal family!

Prince William and Kate Middleton officially arrived to their destination Saturday afternoon with their two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

After a smooth plane ride, the family of four was spotted holding hands as they exited their plane. Kate wore a Jenny Packham dress, Lock and Co hat and the Queen's maple leaf brooch. As for those gorgeous earrings, they are from G. Collins & Sons.

Prince George matched mom perfectly with a sky blue sweater, knee-high socks and black shoes. As for Princess Charlotte, she opted for a lighter shade with a matching bow and shoes as she was carried by mom.

The family would meet with Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophia Trudeau and other dignitaries before heading to Victoria.

"Catherine and I are delighted to be back in Canada. When we were here last time, we had been married only three months. The warm welcome that you gave us at that important moment in our lives meant a lot to us—and we have never forgotten it," Prince William shared at his official welcome. "That is why we are so pleased that George and Charlotte can be with us in Canada this time round, beginning their own lifetime of friendship with this wonderful country."

He added, "Catherine, George, Charlotte and I are very pleased to be here. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly."

"This is a great opportunity for them to introduce their children to a major realm before things like school start to make these things difficult later on," a spokesperson added at a Buckingham Palace briefing earlier in the month. "They really enjoyed taking Prince George to New Zealand and Australia and are delighted to have this opportunity to introduce them to Canada."

The trip marks the first time that Charlotte has been on a royal tour with her parents. The family will have a group of 12 people including one personal assistant, one nanny and one hairdresser to help with different tasks.

And while a little extra help is nice, both parents are excited to learn more about a country they haven't been too since 2011.

"The Duke and Duchess are delighted with the program," their spokesperson added. "They cannot wait to get to Canada and start learning about new parts of the country that will play such an important part of their lives for many years to come."

Because they will be staying at the Government House, the family of four will likely get to experience much of British Columbia. And instead of traveling across the country during the eight-day trip, the royals have chosen a location that is centrally located.

"It is a largely casual, highly outdoors tour," the couple's spokesperson told reporters. "There will be the usual government formal moments, but they'll getting out there and getting to meet Canadians face-to-face in all sorts of different settings."
