Julianne Hough and her fiancé Brooks Laich aren't in any rush to dive deep into wedding planning.
The Dancing With the Stars judge—who can't confirm if she's returning this season, but we'll get to that later—caught up with E! News at the 2016 Emmy nominees reception on Thursday night and exclusively revealed that she and her hockey beau aren't focused on wedding planning at the moment.
"It's fun, but we're still just enjoying the process of being engaged because we're never going to be here again," she explained. "We kind of started to plan and we're like, eh! Let's just enjoy it instead and not feel pressured to start planning already. So we're just picking up little tidbits here and there but not really focusing on it too hardcore."
However, we still couldn't help but address the most important question: Has she picked out her dress?
"I have to find the location first, and then I feel like then you can figure out what kind of dress and style and everything else too," she explained.
For now, Hough is more focused on finding a dress for the 2016 Emmy Awards where she and the cast of Grease Live are being honored.
In weighing her style options, she told us, "It kind of just depends on where I'm at that year. I just went really blonde again so it's kind of more, that's kind of my vibe now. So it goes with that. Last year my hair was short so it's sort of that...I go with my hair!"
She's currently platinum blonde, which she says was inspired by her need to do something different.
"I am growing my hair. It's been short, long or whatever for so many years that I'm just like, I want to do something different. But I don't want to cut it so I was like, I'll just go a little bit more blonde and go to my 18-year-old self again."
Meanwhile, now that this season's cast has been revealed, Hough chatted a bit about the future of Dancing With the Stars.
"It's funny because everybody is saying that [I'm coming back], but I actually can't confirm or deny that I'm going to be on so, I don't know! There's been so many rumors, but I actually technically haven't signed anything yet so, we'll see!"
As for this season's lineup, she said, "It's really interesting! If I do end up judging, I can't really root for anyone to be honest, I have to keep it even. It's kind of an open field, but there's definitely some interesting people for sure."
