Instagram Goodbye summer and hello to short hair!
As Candace Cameron Bure gears up for a new season on The View, the talk-show host took to Instagram Saturday afternoon to debut a brand-new hairstyle.
Don't worry, her blond locks are still here. It's just time for a nice trim.
"So this just happened! #Shorthairdontcare," she shared on social media. "Thank you @blay.locks for the fresh cut."
Hairstylist Daniel Blaylock, who has been working with Candace since 2010, described the cut to E! News as a graduated, textured bob with a deep side part. Using products from Kérastase and Ibiza Hair Tools, the finished look turned out to be a huge success.
"Candace's bone structure not only looks great with longer hair, but she can effortlessly transition into a short cut because of her strong jawline and gorgeous profile," Daniel told E! News. "She loved how healthy her hair felt, how effortless it looks, and the movement in the cut! Candace and I are both looking forward to many style options as this cut grows out. The maintenance will not be as extreme with a cut like this, and that will work even better for her schedule!"
The fresh, new do comes just days before Candace heads back to New York City where she will help kick off the 20th season of ABC's popular daytime talk show The View.
And while there is plenty of excitement surrounding the first week of guests that include Tracy Morgan, Mary J. Blige and Gigi Hadid, we can't help but acknowledge what an unforgettable summer it's been for Candace.
Whether completing the second season of Fuller House or celebrating daughter Natasha Bure's 18th birthday, it's been a season to remember for the 40-year-old.
And while it may be tough to balance working and living in both coasts again, Candace knows her TV and real-life family have her back.
"I'm gonna miss my home while I'm in New York for The View," she shared on Instagram. "See you soon."
