A famous name is heading to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Eden Sassoon, entrepreneur and daughter of the late beauty icon Vidal Sassoon, has confirmed to E! News that she will be joining RHOBH for season seven.

"I can confirm that I've been filming," Sassoon tells E! News exclusively, though her role on the show is still unclear. "I'm not telling you if I'm a Housewife or a friend yet, but it's been a blast so far."

While she will be new to the show, Sassoon is not entirely unfamiliar with some of the cast members.

"She and Lisa Rinna have mutual friends, and her family has a history with Lisa Vanderpump," a source tells E! News. "Eden's father used to come into the restaurants all the time. Since filming started, she and Lisa Rinna have gotten really close."

Sassoon also joins returning housewives Kyle Richards, Eileen Davidson, and Erika Girardi this season, after the departures of Yolanda Hadid and Kathryn Edwards, and is already finding that fitting into this group of strong-willed women is no easy task.

"I thought I was a badass bitch, but this is going to be a tough crowd to keep up with," she tells us. "Don't worry though, I got this!"

The 43 year-old single mom of two owns both a hair salon and a pilates studio, and is known for her sober lifestyle.

Back in July, Kyle Richards teased that season seven will be a little different, all thanks to one of the new cast members.

"Each season, someone new seems to come in and shake things up a bit, so we do have a little shift this season and it's interesting," she told E! News, though she couldn't say whether the shift was a good thing or a bad thing.

"Well, it's new. You never know," she said. "In the beginning, it's always great, and then later, you're like, 'Oh my god, this is a nightmare!'"

As for which new cast member Kyle is talking about, we'll just have to wait and see!

Bravo does not comment on casting rumors.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns later in 2016 on Bravo.

(E! and Bravo are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
