Hailee Steinfeld is giving us John Hughes feelings.
The actress-singer stars in the upcoming The Edge of Seventeen, a coming-of-age film that's being compared to the movies of the late director of classics such as The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Some Kind of Wonderful.
In The Edge of Seventeen, Steinfeld plays an awkward teen who finds out that her best friend (Haley Lu Richardson) is dating her much cooler older brother (Blake Jenner).
Not only is the flick one of the fall's most buzzed-about movies, but it also has the honor of being the closing night film of this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Steinfeld, 19, recently sat down to fill out E! News' "Going to the Movies With" questionnaire...

The Edge of Seventeen is in theaters on Nov. 18.
