Emilie De Ravin took to Twitter on Thursday to publicly ask American Airlines to "dismiss" one of their employees.
The Once Upon a Time actress said she was boarding a flight while leaving Los Angeles, holding her breast pump carry-on when an attendant used "physical force" to grab the bag out of her hands.
Ravin said the pilot was very kind and apologetic in helping relieve the situation, but she still wants to see the attendant fired.
"Dear @AmericanAir I was grabbed forcefully,my carry on bag ripped out of my hand @ lax this morning by AA employee A. 3 witnesses," she began. "By and @AmericanAir female employee...Please kindly dismiss this woman from @americanair employment."
She continued, "Luckily our pilot was very kind and helpful & apologetic on woman's behalf & assisted in getting her name & instructions on who to contact to report her."
Still, the actress believes the incident was inexcusable.
"However ther is NO excuse 4 physical force being used on someone trying to take her breast pump carry on.NOT OK @AmericanAir #accountability," she said, adding. "Apart from this incident and DISCUSTING [sic] woman, thank you for a smooth and safe flight."
American Airlines released the following statement to E! News: "American Airlines is looking into the situation and apologizes to the customer for the inconvenience. Passengers are allowed to have two carry-on items. A breast pump is considered a medical device and should've been allowed on the plane, which eventually it was."
Ravin isn't alone in making a public announcement about a company's employee.
In fact, in July, Tituss Burgess had a few choice words for one Brooklyn-based moving company, which he wrote in a scathing Yelp review that ended up going viral on social media.
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star was supposed to have a couch moved in, but the moving company never showed up. Instead, they texted him asking for a Yelp review and threatening not to come unless he wrote one—yes, before even completing the service.
Obviously, Queen Burgess and all his sass did not let that slide. He took to Yelp, but not for what they wanted. "My name is Tituss Burgess. Im an Emmy Nominated Actor for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt currently streaming on netflix. Thats besides the point. But watch it," he wrote. "These guys are the absolute most UNPROFESSIONAL workers I have EVER DEALT WITH."
After a long explanation of what occurred, he concluded, "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Im going to post this to twitter to my instagram to my facebook. You messed with the wrong Queen. #franksexpress #Igotcha #lizaminelli #Iamgonnamakeavideoaboutyoubecauseofthedeepangerifeel #DONOTTHREATENMEIWILLWIN."
