PSA to all of music's biggest names: You may be receiving a MTV moonman before this weekend is over.

In case you didn't get the hint, the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards are finally here meaning your favorite singers from a variety of genres are coming together in New York City for one of the most unpredictable nights of television.

In between performances from Britney Spears, Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas, MTV will also fit in time to give out some special trophies in a variety of categories including the always buzzed about Video of the Year.
