It has been 10 years since Twitter officially launched, and who better to celebrate the milestone than Kim Kardashian, who has taken to her app to recall some of her most notable tweets from the year she joined the social media platform: 2009.
While she hasn't been part of Twitter for 10 years just yet, it's crazy to see just how much the world has changed since sending her first tweet! From growing families to new glam squads, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has seen some changes. But for every change, there are things that stay the same.
Kendall Jenner now has 19.2 million followers, so it's safe to say Kim's "little sis" doesn't need any help getting fans to follow her. Kendall also has become one of the world's top supermodels, so she's come a long way since she sent her first tweet, too.
Kim not only has perfect teeth, she has perfectly white teeth! Clearly her retainer worked out for her, despite being "too small" at the time.
"SMH" has become a regular part of the cyber and texting vernacular, which Kim and everyone else on Twitter has come to use very often.
She might have said she would "literally die" if she reached 2 million followers, but now that she's at 47.5 million, it's clear that Kim has survived—and blown that number right out of the water.
Kendall, 20, and Kylie Jenner, 19, are officially adults, but back in 2009 they were still just young kids. Now a supermodel and makeup mogul, respectively, Kendall and Kylie have proven that they've become successful adults.
Was this the start of a new relationship? Kim marked the first time she saw Anastasia for her brows, seven years later she's still going to the celebrity-beloved esthetician.
Recently Kim has been showing off the results of her hard-earned post-baby body, citing intense workouts and Atkins diet as her main methods, but it looks like in 2009 she was just as motivated to get in her fitness.
As the old adage says, the more things change, the more things stay the same.
