The famous married musical pair arrived to the red carpet in New York City Monday night dressed to impress in coordinating gray suits. The "Empire State of Mind" rapper opted for a gray jacket and matching slacks with a dress shirt layered underneath, while the "Drunk in Love" songstress put a spin on the suited look with a double-breasted pinstripe jacket and mini skirt.
They were in the Big Apple in celebration of pal Usher, who is set to star in Hands of Stone as the iconic boxer Sugar Ray Leonard as he famously faces off against Panamanian competitor Roberto Durán in their 1980 rematch. The film will debut in theaters Friday.
The 37-year-old "New Flame" singer shared a photo of the couple from his Snapchat account, labeling the two "Familia." In the photo, Jay posed with his arm wrapped around his wife's neck as Beyoncé smiled with her hair pulled back away from her face.
While the proud friends stole away some time from their busy schedules to support the actor, Beyoncé is still in the middle of her world tour, though the shows are on a hiatus until September 7 for the final nine shows in the United States.
In the meantime, the couple recently wrapped up a vacation in Italy with family, including their daughter Blue Ivy. The two were spotted taking on the Mediterranean waters with his-and-hers jet skis.
"[They] are having a great time away" and "seem to really be happy together," an insider told E! News. "They have had many romantic moments."
Now, we can add coordinating suits to that list.
