It feels like American Horror Story is just playing games with us at this point—and we love it.

FX just released a pair of new teasers for the mysterious season six and, while we're pretty certain neither of them have anything to do with the secret theme for this year, they sure are fun to watch. In the first, titled "Anthology," the series takes a trip down memory lane, revisiting all the spooky images from seasons past before offering glimpses of all the teases the network has released thus far. It's a real creepy cornucopia.

The second, entitled "The Harvest," introduces us to a gang of what we can only describe as "wheat men" (when you watch, you'll understand) are stomping through a field, followed closely by a spooky AF little girl carrying a scythe. Is she their leader? Their creator? And will any of this actually be in the new season? We'll see.

As previously reported, much of what FX is releasing as promo material for the upcoming installment of AHS are misdirects, meant to keep the true plot of the season a mystery right up until premiere night. "We just thought it would really be fun to keep it a mystery, so we are," FX president John Landgraf told press at the 2016 TCA Summer Press Tour. Landgraf revealed that the network worked with creator Ryan Murphy and marketing guru Stephanie Gibbons to concoct the plan.

"They went out and made many more trailers than you've actually seen for...different genres and different places," he added. "I just love it on an artistic level. One of them is accurate, the others are all misdirects...We just thought that would be a nice change…all I can say is there is a theme, a setting and a place, but were not going to reveal it."

American Horror Story premieres Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. on FX.
