Watch: Abby Lee Miller Gives Update on Personal Life

Abby Lee Miller is just trying to move forward after pleading guilty to the charge of concealing bankruptcy assets and to one count of not reporting an international monetary transaction.

The reality TV star talked to E! News at the Bad Moms premiere Tuesday and shared with Zuri Hall what she has learned from her ordeal. "I'm good...it's been traumatic. It's been enlightening, and I've certainly learned a lot," she told Zuri.

The Dance Moms star is just trying to keep her Los Angeles business afloat, hiring new people to manage the dance studio. Although a source previously told E! News that she was considering selling the West L.A. studio, it seems that she might have changed her mind.

"I have a business on Santa Monica Boulevard west of the 405. I pay this exorbitant rent and it's a set for a lifetime to shoot their television show, and it's also my dance studio," she dished on the property. "It's a working dance studio. Just interviewing managers has been insane. Getting the right people to do the right jobs is what I need to do, and I need to do it myself."

As for why she's taking control of everything, Miller explained, "I've just been too trusting out there, and I made mistakes along the way. You know, deal with the consequences."

Despite her looming sentencing, which takes place on October 11 and could entail a $5 million fine and up to five years imprisonment, Miller is maintaining her sense of humor. "I've made a lot mistakes but probably not as many as all those bad moms," she joked.

According to a Deadline report, however, Miller's attorneys were working with the court to try and strike a plea deal that would have her serve a maximum of six months in prison. At the time of her hearing, Miller released a statement (via Gossip Cop) explaining why she pleaded guilty.

"Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students. Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way."

Bad Moms hits theaters July 29.
