Just hours after his ex Amber Heard appeared in a Los Angeles court asking for a domestic violence restraining order against Johnny Depp—which was granted—the 52-year-old took the stage to perform alongside his band The Hollywood Vampires.

Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Duff McKagen joined together for the Rock in Rio music festival in Lisbon.

Earlier today, the 30-year-old was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp and was seen leaving the courthouse with a visible bruise on her face.

The temporary restraining order, which was obtained by E! News, requires the Alice Through the Looking Glass star to stay 100 yards away from Heard until a hearing early next month.

The judge also gave Heard the right to live in the family home in Los Angeles but denied some of Heard's other requests, including having Depp stay away from her Yorkshire Terrier named Pistol. The judge argued that there was an "insufficient showing of need to protect pet dog."

"It's an ongoing thing that she needs protection from," a source told us about Heard, who filed for divorce earlier this week. "She did what she had to do to protect herself. It wasn't an easy decision, but this is the truth. It was very hard for her."

Meanwhile, Depp's team released the following statement yesterday in the wake of ongoing speculation over the former couple's divorce:

"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
