Watch: JoJo Fletcher Dishes on "Bachelorette" Frontrunner & Villain

After one episode, The Bachelorette already has its villain: Chad.

While JoJo Fletcher seemed pretty interested in the 28-year-old luxury real estate agent on the first night, viewers saw a different side of Chad, who was (very) quick to put down the other men and had no shortage of insults. But no one was prepared for the promo teasing the rest of the season, which included a lot of Chad threatening violence and punching walls, with host Chris Harrison eventually intervening, saying the other suitors were "scared" for their lives. But no one was more surprised by Chad's behavior than the Bachelorette herself.

"I couldn't believe what I was seeing," JoJo admitted to E! News' Carissa Culiner after watching the promo for the first time. "I don't get to see these guys when they're by themselves. I only get to see them when I'm on dates with them."

But while JoJo wasn't around to see a lot of Chad's controversial behavior, she did say, "There's a lot of drama there, there's a lot that happens. There's blood, there's tears. People are going to have to make their own opinion about Chad because it's certainly an interesting situation there."

Another guy at the center of a lot of tension in the promo? Jordan Rodgers, who received the first impression rose...and happens to be Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' younger brother, with many of the guys questioning his intentions and claiming he joined the show for fame. (One particularly harsh dig: "The best thing about Jordan? His brother. The worst thing about Jordan? He's not his brother." Buuurn!)

As for how JoJo opinion on Jordan after seeing how the guys felt about him in the season-long teaser, she told us, "Jordan, that first night, didn't talk about his brother at all, that wasn't a situation we talked about…seeing that teaser, I didn't know what the guys were saying about him. I also know the first impression rose puts a target on your back. I'm sure that's going to be a constant thing the guys are talking about, but you'll see more of who he is and how he handles himself."

Aside from the first rose, Jordan also landed the first kiss from JoJo, something she wasn't anticipating, but explained Jordan really "eased" her nerves on that first night. "It was comfortable, it was easy and we had a moment where we kissed...didn't expect that to happen," she admitted. "So I just knew after meeting everyone, that was the strongest connection that I had made."
