Kanye West can thank Kris Humphries for finally having a reason to buy a phone.

During the upcoming episode of Kocktails With Khloe, the rapper admits he tried to stop Kim Kardashian from marrying the NBA star, even going as far as buying his first cell phone to do so.

Yes, apparently 'Ye didn't own a phone prior to 2011, and he only bought one that year after he heard the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was set to marry Humphries.

"I got a phone because somebody decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries," Kanye explained. "I wasn't up to anything, and I looked on the internet, and there was Kim Kardashian with some extremely tall person, and I was like, I need to call her or something."

So he went and bought a phone, and John Legend (who is also in the episode with Chrissy Teigen) laughed, recalling that the only number 'Ye had stored was Kim's.

"I started sending her pictures of certain basketball players that used to be cool, that now they wear their pants all the way up to here," Yeezy added. "Like, 'This is your future!'"

Kim and Kris were married for 72 days following their August 2011 wedding.

Meanwhile, as funny as some of the conversations have been during Kocktails With Khloe, the reality star got news earlier this month that it will not be renewed. In fact, the last episode will be the one that features Kim, Kanye, Chrissy and John.

FYI and Pilgrim Media Group released a statement saying, "Kocktails with Khloe will end its run on Wednesday, April 20. FYI and Pilgrim Media Group appreciate everyone's great work on the series and are pleased that the show brought new viewers and significant numbers to FYI's linear and digital platforms."

The statement concluded, "We are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Khloe and thank her for her hard work and unique voice that she brought to the series."

Kocktails With Khloe started in January and ran for 14 episodes. The final episode will air this Wednesday at 10 p.m.
