Cara Delevingne is, quite simply, amazing.

The supermodel-turned-actress recently did what most other celebs would never do—she went public about her struggles with depression.

"Mental illness goes unseen, but hopefully I don't want it to be unheard," Delevingne, 23, told me exclusively while promoting Suicide Squad at CinemaCon. "I want to speak up for it."

Earlier this month, Delevingne first spoke about her mental health issues while tweeting an explanation of why she took a hiatus from modeling after some assumed it was because she was fed up with the fashion world.

"Can we just set the record straight...I never said I was quitting modeling. I do not blame the fashion industry for anything," she began her series of tweets. "I suffer from depression and was a model during a particularly rough patch of self hatred."

She told me at CinemaCon, "A lot of people I've loved in my life suffer from [depression], including myself...One of the main things is talking about it, using your voice."

Hopefully, she said, she can inspire others "to talk about it, too."

In addition to modeling and acting, Delevingne is an aspiring musician. She plays sings and plays the drums and the guitar!

So which of her careers is the hardest?

"Definitely not modeling," she said with a laugh.

"Music will always be my hardest challenge," Delevingne said. "It's something that is very personal and I'm still getting over elements of that for myself so if that ever happens—which I don't know if it will—that may the hardest thing to do."

In addition to Suicide Squad, we'll also be seeing Delevingne in the upcoming Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
