If we really want to talk about big winners at Sunday night's iHeartRadio Music Awards, we have to bring up Taylor Swift first and foremost.

Yes, the "Shake It Off" singer walked away with four trophies. And you bet she was able to enjoy the show at the same table as BFFs Selena Gomez and Serayah.

But perhaps the icing on the cake to such a great evening was when Taylor delivered her acceptances speeches that included a message to one special man.

"For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and the crowds were all gone," she shared after accepting the Best Tour award. "So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam [Calvin Harris] for that."

Short and sweet? Perhaps. Heartfelt and sincere? Absolutely!

The perfect shoutout ultimately got us thinking of a few other stars who chose to thank their significant other while accepting a prize. While some were spot-on with how they delivered their love thoughts, others turned out to be a bit of a struggle. Need proof? Take a look at our acceptance speech wins and fails below.

WIN: Justin Timberlake

Just one year ago at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the former ‘N Sync member gave the sweetest message to wife Jessica Biel and their son Silas. "You can't have innovation without creation.  I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator, my wife Jessica at home," he shared. "Honey, I can't wait to see our greatest creation yet.  Don't worry, daddy's headed home right now to innovate learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

FAIL: Sean Penn

When accepting his Best Actor award in Milk, Sean admitted that he scribbled down a list of names he needed to thank. Ultimately, he left out his wife of nearly 20 years and the mother of his two children, Robin Wright.

WIN: Tom Hanks

Back in 1994, the actor couldn't help but give a shoutout to Rita Wilson. "I am standing here because the woman I share my life with has taught me and demonstrates for me every day just what love is," he expressed. Fast-forward to today and the pair is still going strong. Heck, they're going on tour together this summer.

FAIL: Ben Affleck

During his acceptance speech in 2015, Ben tried to deliver a compliment to Jennifer Garner. Ultimately, it came off a bit wrong to some fans. "I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases," he shared. "It's work but it's the best kind of work. There's no one I'd rather work with."

WIN: George Clooney

That newlywed life never sounded so good. When accepting his Golden Globes award in 2015, the former bachelor thanked Amal Clooney for all her support. "It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love.  Even better when you've been waiting your whole life, and when your whole life is 53 years," he shared. "Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."

FAIL: Hilary Swank

After winning big for Boys Don't Cry, the actress forgot to mention then-husband Chad Lowe. Five years later and Hilary fortunately had the opportunity to have a redo when winning for Million Dollar Baby. "I'm going to start by thanking my husband, because I'd like to think I learn from past mistakes," she joked.

WIN: Aaron Paul

Nothing bad about this speech! When accepting an Emmy for his role in Breaking Bad, the actor thanked his wife while also giving a shoutout to her most important cause, The Kind Campaign. "Thank you and to my wife, MY GOD….thank you for marrying me.  Thank you for dedicating your life to spread kindness across the world," he shared with much enthusiasm. "We all appreciate it. If you guys don't know what she does, look up kind campaign.  Thank you so much."
