Shade alert!

Charlie Puth performed in Dallas Friday night and name-dropped Justin Bieber in a derogatory way while performing his single "We Don't Talk Anymore," a song he originally recorded with the Biebs' ex, Selena Gomez.

"F--k you, Justin Bieber," he said, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Before saying that, he sang the lyrics, "'Don't wanna know what dress you're wearing tonight / If he's holdin' onto you so tight / The way I did before / I overdosed / Shoulda known your love was a game / Now I can't get you out of my brain."

The moment was captured on video and posted on Twitter by Texas fan Allie Twist.

Bieber, 22, has not commented. Puth, 24, later apologized, according to multiple reports and the fan's screenshot of tweets attributed to him, which were later reportedly deleted. His rep had no immediate comment.

"What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke," Puth was quoted as saying. "However...That way it was said mid song did not sound like one. I am a massive @JustinBieber fan and I have nothing but great things to say about him and his music always."
