Hilary Duff Shares Her First Picture of Mike Comrie in More Than a Year, Puts "#FamilyFirst" in Hawaii

Former couple only recently finalized their divorce

Hilary Duff and ex-husband Mike Comrie might be officially divorced, but they're not separating from each other.

The Younger star is on vacation with her ex and their son, Luca Comrie, in Hawaii, and the 28-year-old mom took to Instagram to share a selfie from their family vacation. "#familyfirst #mauivibes Mikey me luc and @tycomrie," she captioned the cute pic.

Hilary looked happy to be spending time with her family, which also included Mike's brother, Ty Comrie. But it's little Luca getting a piggyback ride from his mom that is debatably the best part of the photo. Just look at the goofy grin on his face! Then again, who wouldn't smile like that if they were on vacation in Hawaii?

The "Coming Clean" singer's family photo is the first to include her ex in more than a year. The last time Mike appeared in one of her Instagram photos was about 73 weeks ago when it was the NHL player's birthday. The photo was taken from behind while Mike carried their little boy and his tiny cute backpack.

"Happy birthday Mikey!Have a great boys day," she wrote at the time.

Hilary has made it perfectly clear that she and Mike, 35, will always be on good terms so that they can co-parent to the best of their abilities, and it looks like she's keeping her word. The "Sparks" singer and her former hubby started dating in 2007 and got engaged in February 2010. Less than a year later in August 2010 they tied the knot, but they would go on to file for separation in January 2014.

They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives," Hilary's rep told E! News at the time. "They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

Hilary talked candidly about her personal life on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said she considered herself lucky to have found such a great dad in Mike. "We have such a great kid, and we're both so obsessed with him. We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication. We share pictures when one is not with Luca. Yeah, he's great," she explained.

"We are great and we keep on trucking."
