The Denver Broncos may have won Super Bowl 50, but Twitter is on fire with accolades for the #HotRef on the field at last night's game.

According to Today, ref No. 34 was Clete Blakeman, a 51-year-old lawyer from Nebraska.

His biceps did a number on that striped referee shirt, and viewers took notice.

He also got a shout-out on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Those muscles came from somewhere, too: #HotRef was a backup quarterback at the University of Nebraska in the mid-1980s.

He has been officiating for the NFL since 2008.

It doesn't hurt to get a swole official on the field for throwing flags, signaling down the field, and generally flexing to make fans swoon.

Naturally, a parody Twitter account has even popped up, honoring the sexy sports stud, with gems like:

According to Blakeman's real Twitter profile, which is private, #HotRef is a happily married family man.

It doesn't mean we can't all enjoy our tickets to the gun show, though.
