It's turtle time!

Paramount Pictures purchased a coveted slot during Super Bowl 50 to promote its new film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, a sequel to 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The action-packed trailer shows Donatello (Jeremy Howard/Pete Ploszek), Leonardo (Johnny Knoxville), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher) and Raphael (Alan Ritchson) back in action after Shredder (Brian Tee) hires scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) to create new mutants in the forms of Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly).

To stop an alien invasion of New York City, the Turtles decide to team up with their human friends, television reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), in addition to vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell).

There's even more to be excited about, of course.

Rolling Stone revealed in January that Krang will be in the film by describing a scene in which a prototype was shown to Bay for approval. "They start with Ninja Turtles animation. Pablo Helman, a visual-effects supervisor who worked on the Star Wars prequels, appears onscreen and shows Bay the latest version of Krang, a new-to-the-movies villain who is, essentially, a disembodied brain inside a giant robot. 'So we've eliminated the tentacles,' Helman explains. 'Is it too monster-ish?'" contributing editor Josh Eells wrote. "'He could have some tentacles,' says Bay. 'I just don't want them coming out of the side. He looks like a stupid octopus.'"

Directed by Dave Green and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Bradley Fuller, Scott Mednick and Galen Walker, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is chock-full of celebrity cameos, courtesy of Carmelo Anthony, Alessandra Ambrosio, Matt Barnes, Spencer Hawes, Judith Hoag, DeAndre Jordan, J. J. Redick and Austin Rivers, among many other famous stars.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is out June 3 in 3D and IMAX 3D.
