Be still our collective beating hearts, for we know not what we did to deserve this.

Tonight the unthinkable becomes the thinkable. Tonight our wildest dreams come true. Tonight two beautiful men will take to the television screen back-to-back to bless American society with not one, but two cheeky sitcoms. Tonight our collective fantasy of watching the two best-aging actors in Hollywood will become a reality.

Yes, we're talking about Rob Lowe and John Stamos. It's widely agreed upon that these two not-yet silver foxes have some of the finest faces in existence, especially when you consider that they are 51 and 52 years of age, respectively. How it took until today for a network to realize that giving them TV shows on the same night was the best decision in the entertainment industry (for our eyes, at least), we do not know.

What we do know is that we, and the rest of the world, are very thankful. Let's be honest, here—Grandfathered and The Grinder are probably not sitcoms that many of us would take time out of our days to watch under normal circumstances, but it seems that every person in America has been counting down the hours until tonight's premiere. Nobody can deny themselves the pure joy that comes from staring at the dimples on those two for an hour straight. So where does one go to declare that joy? Why, Twitter, of course.

Tweeters from near and far took to their computers to share their feelings of hope and joy for this evening's meeting of the minds faces, and we couldn't agree more. Bravo, Fox, bravo.
