Nothing says fall more than eye-catching, seasonal fashion trends. For fall, Los Angeles blogger Marianna Hewitt is most excited to rock fringe like this Kensie Leather Skirt, which she wore to the Macy's Presents Fashion's Front Row show during NYFW.
"One of my favorite trends is fringe, from jackets and bags to skirts," shared the blogger. While fringe is usually confined to smaller details, statement-making fringe like this skirt is the perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. The key to wearing a trend like fringe is to keep the rest of your look simple.
For Marianna's NYFW look, she toned down the fringe of the black leather skirt by choosing neutral pieces for the rest of her Macy's Presents Fashion's Front Row outfit. "Because the skirt makes a statement on its own, I wanted to keep the top really simple, so I paired it with this ivory Calvin Klein turtleneck (*available in store at Macy's)," she told us. By matching two neutral shades of beige and black together, the fringe made a sleek impression.
To further balance out the trendy skirt, Marianna kept her accessories simple too. Since the neutral outfit works well for both day and night, the blogger recommended classic cat-eye sunglasses, like her Tiffany & Co. pair (*available in store at Macy's) for the day. As for the rest of her ensemble, she chose a pair of non-distracting, thin, strappy heels in nude to coordinate with her sweater. Lastly, a classic chain-strap bag and shiny, straight hair gave her a polished final look.
