Are frontrunners Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin already experiencing trouble on Dancing With the Stars?!
Last season, Derek suffered a serious ankle injury that forced him to sit out of the competition, with Sasha Farber taking over dancing duties with his partner Nastia Liukin. And backstage after Tuesday night's show, Derek revealed to E! News that he felt "a little ping" in the ankle. Oh no, say it ain't so!
"My ankle that I hurt last season, I was just walking and I just felt like a little ping and I was like, 'Oh, what is that?'" Derek said. "But that's good, that just means I'm going to go home and ice it. But that's it, I'm good otherwise."
And much to Bindi's surprise, she's yet to injure ankle, even though she's still mastering the art of dancing in high heels.
"I have a new appreciation for all women across the world who wears heels," she said. "I have graduated to 2-3inch heels. It's actually going pretty well. I'm pretty excited about it, but my feet are kind of going, 'What are you doing to me?!'"
The glam new DWTS wardrobe has taken a bit of time for Bindi to get used to, with the fan-favorite recently saying, "I'm used to khaki and boots and I think it will always be a part of my life. We always say khaki just isn't a color, it's an attitude; it's a part of who we are."
