Goodbye khaki pants, hello rocker chic gowns!
Wildlife expert Bindi Irwin has had to put crocodile-wrangling on hold for her stint on Dancing With the Stars, and the 17-year-old has had to adapt a glam new look in the process. E! News has your exclusive first look at Bindi's gorgeous costume during tonight's show, which she will be wearing during her Tango with partner Derek Hough to AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long."
And the black dress is totally fitting for the classic rock song, with a few rock n' roll tweaks, like an unexpected chain detail and arm cuffs, added to the elegant look.
The theme of tonight's episode is "Hometown Glory" night, and each couple will perform two new dance styles to songs that remind the celebrity and pro dancer of the places that shaped who they are today. And Bindi's song choice, the iconic AC/DC tune, is one she danced to with her late father, Steve Irwin, at Australia Zoo, aka her hometown, when she was younger.
Before making her DWTS debut last week (and topping the leader-board!), Bindi opened up about the major change in clothing she's be tackling going from Zoo to the ballroom. "I'm used to khaki and boots and I think it will always be a part of my life," she said on Good Morning America. "We always say khaki just isn't a color, it's an attitude; it's a part of who we are."
While Bindi has taken to the sequins and sparkles on DWTS quickly, she's admitted that she's had a hard time adjusting to life in heels on the ABC reality hit, posting a photo of her black heeled booties, writing, "Girls In Heels right now, reading this- I have major appreciation for you. Love, The Girl Who Mostly Lives In Khaki & Boots x"
DWTS airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the first elimination of the season happening Tuesday at 9 p.m.
