Here's proof that little kids sometimes say it best (and call it like it really is!).

A 6-year-old girl named Tiana is making headlines today after her mother recorded a video of her daughter asking her divorced parents to "be friends."

The video has since gone viral and has nearly 10 million views, with many commenters praising the tot for her wisdom and her impeccable insight.

"Are you ready to be his friend?" Tiana asks her mother. "Try not to be that high up to be friends, I want everything to be low, OK? Just try your best…I want you and my dad to be in a place that's settled and be friends."

She continues, somehow managing to make our hearts melt even more, "I'm not trying to be mean. I just want everyone to be friends. And if I can be nice, all of us can be nice too. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to do my best in my heart."

As Tiana's mother explained in the post, her daughter made the plea when her recently divorced parents were fighting over a broken shoe rack, leaving her mom and dad both in awe of their daughter's thoughtful words and maturity.

"I was stunned by it! She is teaching me!!" her mother wrote of the clip.

As one fan wrote, "Can I vote for her for president?!" Care to take a hint, politicians?
