The daughter of Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin had a strongly-worded message for the leader of the United States, which she publicized on her personal blog.
"In case you missed it. The President invited Ahmed Mohamed to visit the White House to show the President his homemade clock," the 24-year-old wrote.
Teenage Texan Ahmed Mohammed came to fame after he was arrested at his high school after he brought in a homemade clock that authorities mistook for a bomb. The 14-year-old was questioned by police for several hours about the origins of the makeshift clock, which Mohamed continuously said was a clock he made in his bedroom that he brought in to show his engineering teacher. He was handcuffed.
After news broke of the incident, President Obama tweeted at Mohamed with an exclusive invitation to bring his invention over to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Palin expressed her concern with the president's response, citing it as inspiration for further divide within the country following a turbulent summer in race relations.
"This is the kind of stuff Obama needs to STAY out of," the expectant mother wrote. "This encourages more racial strife that is already going on with the 'Black Lives Matter' crowd and encourages victimhood."
Palin continued with clear support for the policemen who made the arrest.
"The police made a mistake, clearly. But why put more people against them? Why egg it on?" Palin said, accusing the president of instigation. "Childish games like this from our president have divided our country… even more today than when he was elected."
Comments like these against the Democratic president come as no surprise from Palin, who spent much of her childhood life among America's Republican political elite as the oldest daughter of the former Alaskan governor and later nominee for Vice President.
This is also not the first time Palin's blog has sparked debate. She got into trouble over an announcement she wrote in June, revealing that she was pregnant for the second time, at first calling it a "huge disappointment" and later changing her tune.
"I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned," Palin later wrote.
Hopefully, she doesn't change her tune again this time.
