For over a month, Ryan Adams has been teasing his cover of Taylor Swift's hit 1989 album—and now we finally have a release date!

The 40-year-old singer-songwriter announced today that the forthcoming full-cover album will drop Monday (you can pre-order now) while also releasing his cover of "Bad Blood."

Zane Lowe debuted the tune on Beats 1 Radio on Thursday, and Swift retweeted the announcement while also expressing her excitement for the upcoming project.

"Ryan's music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike," she wrote on Twitter alongside a countdown to the album's release

Adams' take on "Bad Blood" is a soulful acoustic version of the diss track, and while it's understandably less hard-hitting than Swift's, it still has the same catchy undertones.

The "Gimme Something Good" crooner announced his plans to cover 1989 in early August.

"Taylor Swift 1989 full album cover night," he wrote to which Swift replied early the next morning, "is this true??????? I WILL PASS OUT."

Two weeks later, the "Shake It Off" stunner expressed her excitement for the album once again.

"He's gotten some of the best musicians together to record this album and if the clips he's released are any indication, this is going to be something really special," she previously told Entertainment Weekly, adding, "It's such an honor that he would want to take my stories and lyrics and give them a new life."
