Taylor Swift returned to her country roots at her concert in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The Band Perry joined the 25-year-old singer, who is promoting her first all-pop album 1989, onstage at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for an emotional performance of their hit ballad "If I Die Young."
"Tonight in Indianapolis, @thebandperry surprised the crowd and everyone sang 'If I Die Young' SO LOUD," Swift said on Instagram. "Such a fun show!!"
Swift also posted a clip from her performance with the group.
"So put on your best, boys.
And I'll wear my pearls..."

"Dear @taylorswift thank you for a magical night," the group said on Instagram, where they posted adorable selfies with Swift. "Dear Indianapolis thank you for a magical sing along. We love you. #1989tourindy."
"Well yeah that was like the most fun night ever," Kimberly Perry added. "Love u @taylorswift."
Swift, who began her music career as a country artist, has brought many surprise celebrity guests to perform and appear with her onstage during her 1989 tour and join her "squad." The list includes her "Bad Blood" music video co-stars Gigi Hadid, Mariska Hargitay, Karlie Kloss, Hailee Steinfield, Lily Aldridge and Lena Dunham as well as girl groups Fifth Harmony and Little Mix, Justin Timberlake and Avril Lavigne.
Swift is set to perform in Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday and Friday.
