Selena Gomez knows how to treat her fans right.
She surprised her most devoted last night with a performance of "Same Old Love" during her Revival Event at the Palace Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Not only that, but camera crews were on hand to film the fans. The footage will be featured in the final cut of the video for "Same Old Love." The event began with a screening of most of the finished video.
And it gets even better. Gomez, who looked fab in a black cocktail dress black boots, also played a snippet of the title track from her new album, Revival (on sale Oct. 9) and performed "Good For You."
It took her a year to record the album. "At that time, a lot of the world had their own opinions about what I was going through and it was very frustrating because I'd be at home with my friends and I'd be like, 'I just wish I could tell them everything and how I feel,'" Gomez said.
She promised that Revival is her most personal album to date.
The "Revival" single includes lines like, "The chains around me are finally breaking" and "It's my time to butterfly…This is my revival."
Afterwards, Gomez took the time to not only hang with guests at a private cocktail reception, but she met with each and every one of her fans that attended the event.
Gomez is a busy young woman. She'll be in Miami tomorrow to promote Hotel Transylvania 2.
