Newly engaged Julianne Hough is absolutely glowing!
"I feel that way," Brooks Laich's fiancée gushed to E! News at Marchesa's New York Fashion Week show. "I don't know how it looks, but I definitely feel that way."
The 27-year-old bride-to-be was all smiles as she talked about how "exciting" it is to share this happy time with her family and friends. Julianne is really enjoying the now, it seems, which means she's not in any huge rush to plan her and Brooks' wedding.
"We're just enjoying our engagement," she told E! News earlier this month. "I think right now we're just enjoying that part. We really enjoy our stages. I think we enjoyed the dating stage and being engaged, so I think we like to enjoy each stage."
And from the very first stage of their relationship, Julianne and Brooks knew there was a spark between them. "When I met him it was kind of like, Yeah, I knew and I think he knew too," she told E! News, "We kind of knew it was going to happen."
Julianne, who previously dated Ryan Seacrest and had a shorter romance with country singer Chuck Wicks, wasn't always so confident about things in her love life. "Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right. I had one foot out because I didn't want to get hurt," the dancer-singer-actress told Redbook. "And I didn't say what was on my mind because I didn't want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect."
But with Brooks? "Now I'm not holding anything back because I'd rather get my heart broken than never know what it is to be completely, madly in love," she gushed.
