PSA: Zac Efron has not been single for more than a year now. And he sounds like a cool boyfriend.
The 27-year-old Neighbors actor and professional hottie is in a relationship with model Sami Miró and the two recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. Well, "celebrated" the way many low-key couples celebrate.
"We kept it very chill, like lots of, lots of just hanging out, keeping it mellow," she told E! News at the Diesel Black Gold show on Tuesday, during New York Fashion Week.
Miro and Efron have largely been private about their relationship. Over the past year, they have been spotted out together at restaurants and at public events, such as the We Are Your Friends premiere and the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. The two had also adopted a puppy together.
The two had posted rare, adorable photos together on Instagram to mark their anniversary.
"Happy anniversary baby :) I love you @samimiro September 5th," Efron wrote.
In May, Miro talked to Elle.com about Efron, when asked about dealing with the Internet's obsession with her famous boyfriend.
"I've never spoken about us before, but, um, it's definitely different," she said. If I was dating someone who wasn't in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it's important. I mean, it's what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that."
