Looks like there won't be any new couple alert bells going off here.
Although Lewis Hamilton and Kendall Jenner have sparked some romance rumors recently after being spotted out and about together, the Formula One race car driver cleared the air while chatting with E! News and explained that there's nothing brewing between the two.
"Me and Kendall have been friends for a while, so we're just friends," Hamilton told us while attending the Opening Ceremony Spring 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
But he did give his gorgeous friend props for her success in the modeling industry. "She's doing incredible, she's very focused, very level-headed, and she's just—for such a young woman, she's very grown up," he added.
The pair were spotted walking around with a male friend on the busy streets of the Big Apple last week looking equally chic just in time for the famous fashion extravaganza on the east coast.
Prior to their friendly outing, they were seen together nearly halfway across the world at the Formula One Grand Prix on May 24 in Monaco, where Kendall, along with gal-pals Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Baldwin cheered him on.
"You're #1 in our book....and every other book ever @lewishamilton," Bella captioned a shot on Instagram. "Goooodluck lewwwww!!!! We ❤ you!"
Gigi also wrote, "We love you @Lewishamilton. Everyone knows you da champ. #TEAMLH."
