If Cara Delevingne wants to be taken seriously as an actress, she's going to have to toughen up when it comes to interviews. At least, that's what Richard Madden thinks.

The Cinderella actor talked to Style magazine (via Yahoo! Lifestyle) about the Paper Towns actress' now-famous interview with Good Day Sacramento, in which she gave short, blunt answers, and said she's going to have to get used to repetitive questions.

"It was unprofessional," said Madden. "It made her seem ungrateful. She showed her age. For Cinderella, I did six weeks of those interviews, where you get asked the same eight questions."

The 29-year-old former Game of Thrones star went even further when he said she should stick to her other job, modeling, if she can't handle the work that comes with being a successful actor. "If you're not capable of doing it gracefully, then don't do it," he said.

Delevingne, 23, slammed those who criticized her following the July interview and even refused to apologize. Instead, she defended her sarcastic responses and even said they made her more "human."

"I am soooooo lucky and anyone who thinks I am unappreciative or ungrateful clearly doesn't know me," she tweeted. "I work really really hard and love what I do, I don't feel like I need to apologize for being human #sorrynotsorry."

It all began when newscasters started to grill her about her lack of excitement regarding the movie and interview, which didn't please Delevingne. "No, I mean, I'm still very excited. The premiere was last night and it felt like the end of an era, but I'm not any less excited than I was a couple of weeks ago," the Brit beauty explained at the time.

"Maybe I had a bit more energy; it's the morning."

After a cringe-worthy back-and-forth between Delevingne and the show hosts for a few minutes, the broadcasters ended the conversation by recommending she either take a nap or drink a Red Bull.

While many were split on whom to side with, it looks like Madden is team broadcasters.
